Since our shoes are made from the highest-quality leather, you may notice slight variations in color and texture, which add to their uniqueness. Over time, natural wear, exposure to sunlight, and body oils will give your shoe character, which is part of the beauty of real leather.

To care for your FRĒDAs and keep them looking their best, we recommend following the below steps to ensure you can enjoy wearing them for many years to come.

For storage, always keep your shoes in a clean, dry place, away from direct sunlight. After wearing them, especially for long periods, allow them to air dry to remove any moisture. 

Investing in a nourishing leather care cream or protectant spray, depending on the type of leather, can help ensure the leather has a protective barrier against the elements and stays supple. If you wear your FRĒDAS frequently or in wet conditions, we recommend having a rubber sole professionally applied for added durability. Heel tabs will naturally wear down over time, but they can be easily replaced by a cobbler. Be sure to replace your soles or heel tabs at the first sign of them becoming uneven or beginning to wear down near the leather.
